I was piddling around on the computer this weekend and decided to learn how to build a custom Photoshop brush. I was very proud of myself for learning how to do this… then a little less proud when I discovered how easy it was… then not too proud at all when I forgot to save it and threw it away accidentally… but I did paint this little picture with it before it disappeared forever.
I’ll never forget that little Photoshop brush… it was a true and loyal friend… while it survived…

I never got to try that little Photoshop brush, but I bet it was a good little work horse. Coach Cower needs to trade his NBC desk job for a Chiefs sideline gig. Phlegm win big this week even with the LIONS defense.

I keep thinking I need to try to make a PS brush… but just never get around to figuring it out. But if YOU can do it… there is hope for all of us

Do you bang your mouse back and forth on the desk like Bob Ross cleaning his brush?
Dennis Jones
…well, that made me laugh out loud…

I still enjoy a good Bob Ross paintin’ show. Especially when he loads up that fan brush with a touch of blue and lots of magic white and proceeds to create a wonderful little waterfall in his world.

Yeah… that made me laugh too… in my world… all the happy little trees are deformed. They still play Bob’s program here. Love the Afro. You might want to check out the Bob Ross Cult

…well, since it’s apparently Bob Ross Day on my page, a little something from the archives…

Bob Ross paints mice? Who knew? Incase you’re reading Bob, would you paint Bespin or Kamino. It would be awesome.

No mistakes here, just happy accidents. Words of wisdom from Bob Ross and my mom…
Dennis Jones
…my mom never thought my accidents were all that happy when I was a kid… of course, my accidents usually involved a broken or severed limb or two…

I thought it was unwavering motherly encouragement until I was in a therapy session around age 23… when I realized she was referring to me. Maybe I’ve shared too much.

hello. I have been checking in off and on for the past coupla years. Big fan of you all. Dennis, I had an interesting thing happen while reading the “See with Me Bible” with my daughter last night…a few weeks ago she learned about Jonah, she’s almost 4, while she relayed the story from Sunday school, she kept referring to Jonah as “She” – I then explained to her that Jonah was a boy. She got very agitated and explained to me that Boys don’t wear yellow dresses with purple. I later saw in the story book the class used that he indeed had a yellow robe and purple sandals and sash…back to last night, as I read the story I was surprised to see, even in the Dennis Jones version Jonah sports yellow and purple, luckily there was no questions of whether he was a boy or girl, I plan to research today to see if Jonah’s choice of wardrobe is mentioned in the Bible…just thought it as interesting.

Hi Kelly …I don’t think there’s anything about what color robe Jonah wears in the Bible… probably most everyone was wearing some shade of brown in those days, (except for the very wealthy)… of course, a full color Bible full of brown is not all that exciting… in a picture Bible with tons of different characters, you have to make them look different in some way, so you put one in yellow and call him Jonah… you put one in green and call him Peter… I was just using color to differentiate different characters… it was fun to hear the story about you daughter…

I personally think Jonah wore a robe with polka dots…
Dennis Jones
…I’m pretty sure his robe was kinda polka-dotted after being half digested by Big Fish gastric juices…
